Open to Director of Marketing, Growth, and Operations roles
Hi, I'm Colin.I build the systems that make growth repeatable.
I lead marketing and operations, and I put AI where it actually saves time or wins customers. Most recently, I helped a small firm grow signed clients 60% in six months while cutting the average client call from 1.5 hours to 37 minutes. The same work made the firm a Legalweek "Best Use of AI" finalist next to Baker McKenzie, King & Spalding, and Reed Smith.
- +60%
- signed clients in six months, with average calls down from 1.5 hours to 37 minutes
- Finalist
- Legalweek Best Use of AI, as a boutique firm up against Big Law's AI budgets
- +40%
- total team capacity from one connected operating system, with the same headcount
- 2 companies
- run at the same time for five years. Two pipelines, two teams, neither one dropped.
- 250K → 1.4M+
- social audience at LeEco US, with a team of four
- 500 → 12,000+
- monthly sign-ups at Verlocal, plus a 300%+ KPI lift from a five-person ad ops team
The marketer who also builds the machine behind it.
Most marketing leaders hand the systems work to someone else. I do both. I've written the conversion copy, built the intake flow it feeds, wired up the tools that track it, and put AI to work speeding it all up. That's why the results hold after I hand them off.
- Growth and operations in one hire. I've run marketing, intake, onboarding, and operations together, with cost per acquisition as the scoreboard.
- AI that's already working, not a pilot deck. I moved it into daily intake, content, and paid media, and it earned a national finalist spot against firms with far bigger budgets.
- Built for lean teams. For five years I ran growth for two companies at the same time.
- A designer's standards. I trained in industrial design, so your site, your funnel, and your internal tools get judged like products.
"Colin handled these broad responsibilities with professionalism, initiative, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach."
Selected work
Three projects, each told the same way: the problem, what I built, and what changed.
-
Intake that sorts itself
Every lead got the same treatment, so the best ones waited. I rebuilt intake around AI so the team spends its time on the calls that matter.
+60%signed clients, less call time
-
Capacity without new headcount
The intake and onboarding team was buried in manual steps. I connected AI tools into one automated flow, so the same team handles more and clients always know where things stand.
+40%capacity, same headcount
-
The front door
The site, content, and ads weren't working together. I relaunched the site, built a daily content engine and a YouTube channel, and moved paid search to AI Max and Performance Max.
Dailycontent, about 10 pieces a week
How I work
Three rules I hold every project to.
AI where it removes real work
Not where it demos well. If it doesn't save time or win customers, it doesn't ship.
Systems, not heroics
If it can't be measured or handed off, it isn't finished. Growth shouldn't depend on one person staying late.
A designer's eye on every page
I trained in industrial design, so I judge a website, a workflow, or an intake form the way I'd judge a product.

Building something that needs to grow without breaking?
I'm looking for a director-level role in marketing, growth, or operations at a company that wants AI doing real work. I'm based in Thousand Oaks and open to hybrid or on-site roles from Ventura County to Calabasas and the San Fernando Valley, or remote.
